Waaree Renewable Technologies secures EPC for 450 MWp solar project in Rajasthan
Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd (WRTL) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from a domestic independent power producer for the turnkey execution of a 450 MWp solar power project in Bikaner district, Rajasthan.
The project is scheduled for completion in FY2027–28, and adds to WRTL’s unexecuted order book of more than INR 5,500 crore.
WRTL’s scope of work includes design, engineering, inspection, procurement, supply, delivery, erection, testing and commissioning of the solar project.
“This 450 MWp award adds momentum to our order book and shows our ability to take on projects of this scale for large developers,” said Viren Doshi, Whole Time Director, Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd. “Rajasthan remains one of our most important markets, and Bikaner strengthens our pipeline in the state. Our focus now is on early mobilisation and commissioning within FY2027-28, as we pursue further solar and storage-linked opportunities.”
The LoA follows recent awards for 800 MW AC (1,109 MWp) of solar capacity and a 291 MWp solar project paired with 280 MWh of battery storage, both scheduled for completion in FY2027-28.
