TrueRE Oriana Power sells 110 MWp C&I solar portfolio to Actis
TrueRE Oriana Power today announced the sale of its 110 MWp C&I solar portfolio to Actis at an enterprise value of INR 501 crore. The transaction forms part of the proposed divestment of 238 MW of TrueRE Oriana Power’s operational solar assets to Actis.
As part of this deal, TrueRE Oriana Power has transferred its stake in Truere Guj SPV Pvt Ltd and Truere Current Pvt Ltd to Actis.
“The monetisation of our 110 MWp C&I solar portfolio marks the first milestone in our growing strategic partnership with Actis,” said Anirudh Saraswat, Founder and Chief Business Officer.
Saraswat said that the capital unlocked through this transaction will support TrueRE Oriana Power’s next phase of growth, enabling the company to reinvest in a diversified portfolio across solar, BESS, green fuels and emerging clean-energy infrastructure.
“We will continue to evaluate more such opportunities that further strengthens our asset recycling strategy,” he added.
The current transaction follows the partnership between TrueRE Oriana Power and Actis for joint development of 1 GW of renewable energy assets. The partnership combines TrueRE Oriana Power’s project development and execution capabilities with Actis’s global investment expertise and financial strength, supporting the development and scaling of largescale renewable energy assets.
TrueRE Oriana Power is a fully integrated renewable energy platform delivering clean energy solutions across the value chain — from generation and storage to consumption enablement. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Noida, India, the company has 1.5 GW of solar portfolio, over 2.5 GWh of secured battery energy storage projects, a signed agreement for 60,000 MTPA of Green Ammonia and an allocation for 10,000 MTPA of Green Hydrogen.
To fuel its next phase of growth, TrueRE Oriana Power is focusing on scaling its integrated energy platform, selectively monetising assets to recycle capital, building long-term asset ownership across generation and storage, leveraging AI and robotics technology and partnerships, and expanding into emerging clean-energy opportunities.
The company targets approximately 6 GW of solar EPC portfolio, 2.5 GW of solar IPP capacity and 20 GWh of BESS projects by FY 2030.
