NTPC Green Energy, MAHAPREIT to jointly develop solar and hybrid power projects

NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) and Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Ltd (MAHAPREIT) have formed a 74:26 joint venture to develop solar, wind, and hybrid power projects with or without storage in India.

NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) and Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Ltd (MAHAPREIT) have formed NTPC-MAHAPREIT Green Energy Ltd as a joint venture to develop renewable energy parks in India.

“NTPC-MAHAPREIT Green Energy Ltd will be engaged in the business of developing, operating and maintaining renewable energy parks including Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Parks/RE projects comprising solar/wind/hybrid with or without storage up to 10 GW capacities in Maharashtra and any other state in India,” stated NGEL, which holds 74% shareholding in NTPC-MAHAPREIT Green Energy with the rest 26% owned by MAHAPREIT .
