SJVN switches on 241.77 MW solar in Rajasthan

SJVN’s arm SJVN Green Energy Ltd (SGEL) has successfully completed trial run of 241.77 MW capacity in the first phase of 1 GW solar power project in Bikaner district of Rajasthan. “The capacity is currently under operation and is all set for commissioning on April 2, 2025,” stated SJVN.

The Bikaner solar project, with a total planned capacity of 1 GW, is slated for full commissioning by September 30, 2025.

Upon project completion, SGEL will supply the generated solar power to Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, and Uttarakhand.
