NHPC secures 200 MW solar project in Gujarat

State-run power producer NHPC has secured a 200 MW solar project within Gujarat State Electricity Corp Ltd’s 600 MW solar park at Khavda in Gujarat. It was issued a letter of intent by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) to build the PV capacity.

The estimated project cost is INR 1,007.60 crore ($121.63 million).
