Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy JV secures $560 million solar-plus-storage project in Egypt Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd (SWREL), through its 50:50 joint venture with Hassan Allam Construction, has secured an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for a 1 GW (AC) solar PV project with a 600 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in Egypt’s Minya Governorate.
