The second phase of the Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid) and Electric Vehicles (FAME II) program offers incentives to deploy electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.

The Solar Energy Corporation of India has issued a call for expressions of interest to supply clean energy to isolated off-grid communities and warned components will probably have to be transported manually.

The innovators will be required to showcase their technologies in real field conditions. The shortlisted ones will be empanelled and allocated sites to install solar pumps under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evem Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) Scheme.

Contractors will be required to identify sites and develop, operate and maintain interoperable electric chargers in more than 75 cities.

The state electric company has issued a call for expressions of interest in installing the residential arrays.

The selected party will provide funding support of Rs 4 crore by way of design and development of machinery for lithium- and sodium-ion battery cell manufacturing. September 30 is the deadline to submit the interest.

The state-owned Central Electronics Limited seeks to empanel startups having the technology patent for waterless solar module cleaning system without any moving parts as its intends to manufacture such systems at its facilities.

The state-owned power producer has invited global Expression of Interest (EOI) for supply of hydrogen fuel cell based electric buses and cars—ten each—for pilot projects in Delhi and Leh. The last date for submission of EOI is May 15.
