Central Electronics Limited (CEL)

The Central Electronics Limited (CEL) seeks to empanel balance-of-system (BOS) suppliers for compact solar power packs ranging from 1 kWp to 5 kWp. The empaneled vendors shall also be responsible for installation and commissioning of the packs at four locations—in and around Pune, Chennai, Delhi National Capital Region and Sahibabad.

The state-owned Central Electronics Limited seeks to empanel startups having the technology patent for waterless solar module cleaning system without any moving parts as its intends to manufacture such systems at its facilities.

The EPC provider has won an aggregate 13.2 MWp solar capacity from State-owned Central Electronics Limited, in addition to projects from Gas Authority of India Limited, Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and Reserve Bank of India.

Interested solar EPC contractors can now submit expressions of interest till April 30 to get empaneled with the state-owned Central Electronics Limited.

Bids are invited for supply of multi-crystalline solar modules, with peak power output of minimum 325 Wp each, to different substations in various districts of Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Bidding closes on March 5.

Eligibility criteria has been relaxed to include authorized distributors, resellers and dealers as well. Further, there are relaxations in the supply order carried out in the last one year. Bidding now closes on January 22.

January 4 is the last date to bid for the plants that are to be developed in capacities of 10 KWp to 50 KWp atop government buildings. Bids must be accompanied with bank guarantee of Rs 750,000.

Developers have until December 30 to bid for the grid-connected plants that shall come up on the land within or around the premises of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited’s substations. The plants are to be developed on turnkey basis.

Bids are invited for supply of 5-busbar cells with an efficiency of minimum 19.4%. A total of one million quantities are to be supplied. Bidding closes on December 26.

State-owned module maker Central Electronics Limited will bid for distributed grid connected solar projects in Rajasthan DISCOMs, in tie-up with another party that will carry out the installation work using its panels in case of award of contract.
