Build Own Operate

Developers have until January 17 to submit bid for the grid-connected projects that are to be set up anywhere in India on build-own-operate basis. Tariff ceiling payable to the project developer is fixed at INR 2.78/KWh for 25 years.

The ISTS connected projects—to be developed on ‘build-own-operate’ basis—can be set up anywhere in India for round-the-clock power supply to New Delhi Municipal Council and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. December 3 is the last date for bidding.

The state government has set a solar power target of 10,700 MW by 2022 and 23,500 MW by 2030. The latest extension by Solar Energy Corporation of India is second in line for the 275 MW project which was announced in August.

The projects—to be set up on ‘build-own-operate’ basis—will be awarded through bidding followed by reverse auction with tariff ceiling fixed at Rs2.95/kWh for 25 years. Bidding closes on September 25.

The projects — solar, wind or a combination thereof — are expected to supply power for a minimum of six hours per day during periods of peak demand. The last date for bids is Sept. 17.

Private-sector utility Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited has invited global bids to set up 350 MW of grid-connected wind-solar hybrid power projects. There is also the Greenshoe option to add another 350 MW. The projects—to be developed on build-own-operate basis—can be set up anywhere in India. Bidding closes on August 9.

The Solar Energy Corporation of India has invited bids to set up 1.2 GW of grid-connected solar under the fifth phase of its national interstate transmission system program. The projects – to be established on a build, own, operate basis – will be awarded through e-bidding and a reverse auction with a tariff ceiling of Rs2.65/kWh. Bidding closes on July 31.

Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has invited bids for development of 2 MW solar PV power projects—1 MW each for Siachen and Partapur army posts—in Leh region of Jammu & Kashmir. The projects are to be developed on ‘build, own operate’ basis.

India’s Solar Energy Corporation of India has invited solar power developers to construct 7.5 GW grid connected projects in Leh and Kargil Districts in the state of Jammu & Kashmir under a competitive bidding process. Bid submission deadline is April 30. Tenders will be opened on the same day. The date of reverse auction will be advised at a later date.

The projects, in Maharashtra, will be commissioned through a reverse auction with technical bidding to close on December 19. The deadline for the submission of financial bids and the date for the reverse auction after the opening of financial bids, will be published in due course.
