The state-owned engineering major has invited bids for supply of balance-of-system items, and installation and commissioning of an aggregate capacity of 69 MW (AC) grid-connected solar plants for Singareni Collieries Company Limited in Telangana. The projects—including 39 MW at Yellandu village and 30 MW at Manuguru—will come up in Bhadadri Kothagudem district of the state. Bidding closes on July 31.

Grid-connected solar plants in capacities ranging from 250 KW to 3.5 MW are to be installed at various sub-stations of state-owned Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited. Bidding closes on August 12.

Having won a 100 MW floating solar project last month, state-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited has added another 25 MW from NTPC to emerge as the largest EPC player in India’s floating solar segment.

Proposals by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited and Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments, Jaipur to set up solar-based EV charging infrastructure have received funding under the government’s FAME India scheme. These projects will come up at Delhi NCR, Udyog Bhwan, and Delhi-Jaipur-Delhi, Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai as well as Delhi-Chandigarh-Delhi highways.

The state-owned engineering major will set up a floating solar plant at NTPC Ramagundam in Telangana and a ground-mounted plant at Raghanesda Ultra Mega Solar Park in Gujarat, with a capacity of 100 MW each.

Cumulatively valued at Rs 520 crore, the projects include a 50 MW plant for Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd, a 75 MW plant for Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd and a 10 MW plant for Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has invited bids to supply, install and commission 1,250 kW, three-phase, grid-connected power-conditioning units for 129 MW solar PV capacity in the state of Telangana. The deadline for bid submissions is May 27.

Under the partnership, projects will be sought on nomination as well as through competitive bidding. Exicom shall also help state-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) to set up electric vehicle (EV) charger manufacturing facility for e-mobility business.

State-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has invited bids for supply, installation and commissioning of grid-connected solar rooftop PV plants of cumulative capacity 170 KWp at four locations in Haryana. The projects would be awarded through bidding followed by reverse auction. The last date for bid submission is May 10.

Government-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals and the Automotive Research Association of India will combine their respective strengths in technology development and testing and certification to work on electric and trolley buses, EV chargers and battery and charger testing.
