Applications & Installations
With one of the world’s largest solar capacities in development, India is deploying PV across diverse use cases—from massive utility-scale parks in Rajasthan and Gujarat to industrial rooftops in Tamil Nadu and off-grid microgrids in remote northeastern states. This category highlights installation strategies, EPC partnerships, financing models, and state-wise deployment challenges. It also explores sector-specific applications such as agricultural solar pumps, floating PV, canal-top installations, and residential systems under net metering. Whether grid-connected or standalone, these use cases illustrate how solar is powering India’s economic growth and energy security.
