ACME Solar commissions 66.68 MW solar project in Rajasthan, plans UAE subsidiary

ACME Solar Holdings has commissioned the first 66.68 MW phase of a 300 MW solar power project in Rajasthan. Separately, it has approved plans to establish a wholly owned subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates to strengthen its renewable energy supply chain.

ACME Solar Holdings has commissioned the first 66.68 MW phase of a 300 MW solar power project in Rajasthan, adding new utility-scale capacity to its portfolio. The project, developed through subsidiary ACME Renewtech Private Limited, is located in Kelan village, Chhatargarh tehsil, in Bikaner district.

The Indian RE developer has also approved plans to establish a wholly owned subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates. The new entity is intended to strengthen ACME Solar’s renewable energy supply chain through international procurement, supply chain management and project support, as well as hedging of raw materials including lithium carbonate and polysilicon.
