Hexa Climate has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with CESC Ltd for the long-term supply of 100 MW of power from an interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid project. The company secured the capacity through CESC’s tariff-based competitive bidding process for 600 MW of wind-solar hybrid capacity.

To supply the contracted power, Hexa Climate will develop a hybrid project comprising 50 MW of solar capacity and 100 MW of wind capacity on a build-own-operate (BOO) basis in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. The company will supply power at a tariff of INR 3.75/kWh under the 25-year PPA.
