Loom Solar launches 5 kWh wall-mount lithium battery for homes and offices
Loom Solar has expanded its residential energy storage portfolio with the launch of the CAML 5.12 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery, designed for homes and offices to provide reliable backup power during grid outages
The battery offers a nominal capacity of 5,120 Wh (51.2 V, 100 Ah) and delivers up to 5 kW of output power. It incorporates an intelligent battery management system (BMS) with CAN and RS-485 interfaces for inverter communication.
According to Loom Solar, the battery delivers 6,000 charge-discharge cycles at 80% depth of discharge (DoD) and gets fully charged 100% in just two-three hours. The system can operate across temperatures ranging from -20 C to 65 C. The battery is certified to UN38.3, CE, RoHS, and MSDS standards.
