Lineage Power signs 3 GWh battery cell supply agreement with Rongjie Energy Tech

As part of the agreement, Lineage Power will source Rongjie Energy Tech’s 314 Ah storage-specific prismatic LFP cells. The agreement also establishes a framework for technical collaboration, product validation, quality assurance, and product development.

Lineage Power, a subsidiary of Pace Digitek Ltd, has signed a master supply agreement (MSA) with Guangzhou Rongjie Energy Technology Co. Ltd. (RJE Tech), a Chinese manufacturer of lithium-ion battery cells.

Under the agreement, Rongjie Energy Tech will supply 3 GWh of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells and related accessories to Lineage Power.

The company said the agreement will support its battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing operations for utility-scale and commercial and industrial (C&I) applications.
