HVR Solar to set up 1.2 GW TOPCon cell manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh
HVR Solar, a Delhi-based solar module manufacturer and EPC services provider, plans to establish a 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh’s Amroha district. The company has signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with global technology and equipment providers including Shenzhen Han’s Photovoltaic Equipment Co., Ltd., Gentech Technology (Huzhou) Co. Ltd., and IndyGreen Technologies for the facility.
HVR Solar said the facility is expected to create more than 500 local jobs and support the next phase of its manufacturing expansion.
The announcement follows the company’s plans to commission its 1.2 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Sonipat, Haryana, in June 2026. Built on a 6.5-acre site near Murthal, the facility will produce TOPCon and heterojunction (HJT) solar modules.
