RenewSys named Top Performer in Kiwa PVEL’s 2026 PV Module Reliability Scorecard
Indian solar manufacturer RenewSys has been named a Top Performer in Kiwa PVEL’s 2026 PV Module Reliability Scorecard, marking the second consecutive year the company has received the recognition.
The recognition was awarded to RenewSys’ DESERV EXTREME module series after it met the requirements of Kiwa PVEL’s Product Qualification Program (PQP), a testing program that evaluates the reliability and performance of PV modules under accelerated stress conditions designed to simulate real-world operating environments.
According to RenewSys, the Top Performer designation covers multiple variants of the DESERV EXTREME series, with power outputs ranging from 415 W to 650 W. The company said the modules exhibited strong performance across critical reliability and performance test categories.
Mumbai-headquartered RenewSys manufactures solar modules and upstream components, including backsheets (4 GW) and encapsulants (24 GW targeted by FY 2026–27). The company currently has module manufacturing capacity of 5.6 GW and is expanding into solar cell production with a planned 5 GW high-efficiency cell manufacturing line.
