GREW Solar has been named a Top Performer in the 2026 PV Module Reliability Scorecard published by Kiwa PVEL, an independent solar module reliability and performance testing laboratory. The recognition reflects its modules’ performance in third-party testing designed to assess durability and reliability under accelerated stress conditions.

GREW Solar achieved Top Performer status in six Product Qualification Program (PQP) categories: thermal cycling, damp heat, mechanical stress sequence, hail stress sequence, potential-induced degradation (PID), and light-induced degradation (LID).

Kiwa PVEL’s Product Qualification Program is regarded globally as one of the most rigorous independent testing frameworks for solar modules, evaluating performance at the Bill of Materials (BOM) level rather than assessing module labels alone. Modules undergo extended reliability testing designed to simulate decades of field exposure across temperature fluctuations, humidity, mechanical loading, hail impact and electrical stress conditions.

The six categories in which GREW Solar received Top Performer recognition are among the program’s most demanding assessments. Thermal cycling and damp heat tests evaluate resilience to temperature variation and prolonged exposure to heat and humidity. Mechanical stress sequence and hail stress sequence assess structural durability under loading and external impact conditions, while PID and LID testing validate sustained electrical and energy performance over time.

GREW Solar, a venture of the Chiripal Group, operates a 6.5 GW solar PV module manufacturing plant in Dudu, Rajasthan, with plans to scale to 11 GW. The company is also setting up an 8 GW solar PV cell facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh. GREW manufactures high-efficiency n-type TOPCon solar PV modules in G12R and M10R configurations, designed for reliable performance across utility, commercial, industrial, and rooftop projects.
